The Oceanico Faldo and O’Connor golf courses are amongst the best layouts in the Algarve, the Faldo Course was designed by Nick Faldo built on the hillier and arid portion of the terrain, rocky outcroppings, plenty of water, including ponds, and a stream which runs along many fairways and large bunkers require good course management right from the first tee and demands careful positioning to score well. The Christy O’Connor Jnr is a very long golf course with wide fairways and large fast greens with lots of bunkers. The first hole describes these course, very opened and with big greens; the Oceanico O’Connor offers no less of a challenge, demanding accurate play and creative shot-making.
