The Añoreta golf course was designed by the famed Ryder Cup Champion José María Cañizares. The par 72 has a longitude of 6,016 metres for professionals and 5,833 for amateurs. Añoreta first opened in 1990.
The course is best known for its use of water, which features at 11 of the 18 holes! The most notable being the 7th, which is a par 4 with a lake in the centre of the fairway, the 8th; a tricky par 4, featuring a right dogleg with a large lake to the left and the signature 17th hole, surrounded by water on 3 sides to keep players on their toes. The 3rd is also an interesting challenge; a par 5 standing at over 500m.
Añoreta offers a challenging game suitable for all levels of players and its fast rolling greens, cleverly positioned bunkers and wide variety of holes usually demands the use of most of your clubs. Get your tee time at Anoreta Golf with us.
