Cabopino is situated opposite the marina after which it is named. With 5,170 meters long and has a par of 71 this golf course was designed by the Madrid architect Juan Ligués and has spectacular views of the sea and the beautiful natural surroundings, including a large number of magnificent spreading pine trees.

The course consists of three par-3’s, two par-5’s, and thirteen par-4’s. The longest hole is the 14th, a 456 meters par-5, and the shortest is the 13th, a par-3 which is 134 meters from the yellow tee. The signature hole is the 3rd: a gargantuan drop to the fairway is followed by the need for an accurate second as a large bunker protects the elevated green.

Generally, this is a tight course, meandering around bunkers, bumps and hilly long greens all kept in excellent condition. Although Cabopino is golf course where golfers with a high handicap will enjoy using all of the clubs in their bag and lower handicaps will have to take a risk on every shot if their want to get round with a good score.
