Club de Golf Costa Brava was inaugurated in 1968; its layout combines a very technical layout in the first round with a more relaxed one in the second. All golfers, from beginners to experts, will be at home on the 5,636 meters (Par 70) of Club de Golf Costa Brava course, with its moderate slopes and varied width fairways.
Studded with cork oaks, olives, and pines, the main challenge on the first 9 holes involves dodging several trees, before chipping onto the greens. The second nine are flat and wide, with two, large, artificial lakes that end in a bay by the sea.
The Costa Brava Golf course boasts a magnificent ‘masia’ (country house) built in 1841, which serves as the clubhouse. Club de Golf Costa Brava enjoys a privileged position near the picture perfect coastline of the Costa Brava which is home to four golf courses ranked inside the continent’s top 50, and a further 3 that have been chosen to host European Tour events.
