Son Antem West Course is the championship course at Marriot Son Antem Golf Resort & Spa and one of finest and challenging golf courses in the island. Laid in typical Mallorcan countryside, it offers nature pure and spectacular view to the Randa Mountain.
Tight fairways call for accuracy from the tee and with a number of raised greens, distances can be deceiving. There is also a number of water hazards and strategically positioned bunkers to contend with. The course features three lakes surrounded by five holes, and winds through native woodlands and the gently sloping hills to provide a picturesque experience of Mallorca’s natural beauty.
The Signature hole on the front 9 would have to be the 7th which is a Par 5 dogleg right. It sums up Son Antem West as the fairway is quite narrow and the trees are very unforgiving. At 450m it does not play very long so at least you are approaching the green from a distance.
The Par 4 18th is Stroke Index 1 and a visually stunning hole. It rather bucks the trend of the previous 17 holes as it has water all the way down the left and trees on the right. It plays quite long at 370m and the green is well protected. A challenging finish to a challenging course. The challenge awaits you at Golf Son Antem West.
