Meloneras GolfThe Meloneras Golf Course was inaugurated in 2001 in the south of the island of Gran Canaria, Spain, is one of the latest additions to the growing list of golf courses in the area. This 18-hole (Par 71) championship course was designed by Ron Kirby, he adapted it to the landscape and integrated its natural form and beauty.

For example an obstacle on two of the holes is the ball being hit over so called “barrancos”, the typical Canarian valleys in the volcanic rocks; the layout was configured as a very technical golf court aimed at players with different handicaps and suitable for holding major international championships.
