Originally opened in March 2007 as Costa Esuri West, after the closure of the golf course the layout was redesigned to open as Valle Guadiana Links in the Spring of 2020. Managed by Isla Canela Golf, the course is a superb riverside parkland course but with a real links golf feel. The prevailing wind off the Guadiana river brings an added challenge to the layout but the fairways are wide and fair.
Being integrated into a Nature Reserve, its special idiosyncrasy gives a freeing and relaxing effect, different from the rest of the golf courses nearby. The front and back nine are distinctively different so that golfers here can enjoy a fantastically varied round of golf. The front nine make the most out of the golf course’s position just next to the Guadiana River, offering spectacular sweeping views across the landscape.
During your round at Valle Guadiana Links by Isla Canela, you will spend most of your time looking out to the magnificent River Guadiana which forms the border between Spain and Portugal. Those with eagle eyes will spot the Seve Ballesteros course at Quinta do Vale Golf Club over the water in Portugal. This is also well worth a play.
Combined with perfectly manicured fairways and some truly memorable holes, at the Valle Guadiana Links, golfers are set to have an unforgettable round of golf on their golf break in Spain. Get your round today.
